Nothing announces the coming of Spring quite like the first daffodils poking their buds through the melting snow, and you can experience that feeling early with our series of indoor daffodil gardens! Give them a sunny spot and some water and you’ll be rewarded with weeks of color and fragrance.
You or your gift recipient will receive 4 months of potted narcissus bulbs. A decorative grey woven basket will arrive with the first month’s garden, to be reused with the following months which arrive in just their plastic grow liners.
- 1st month -Adorable ‘Twinkling Yellow’ narcissus have loads of petite yellow flowers with incredible fragrance.
- 2nd month – Elegant ‘Attraction’ have the trumpet shape we all associate with classic daffodils. Sunshine yellow corona surrounded by snowy white petals.
- 3rd month -Bodacious ‘Sherborne’ double daffodils will delight you with their huge blooms, dense with ruffly petals, on thick sturdy stems.
- 4th month – Unusual ‘Petit Four’ narcissus have double pink coronas with spidery white tendrils peeking out.

Our products may become available for preorder before they are available to ship. Please note the expected ship dates given within each product’s description. General dates below.
- Amaryllis begin shipping in mid-October and continue through February (or until inventory runs out)
- Individual Potted bulb gardens begin shipping in mid-January and continue through early May (or until inventory runs out)
- Monthly Bulb Garden Programs can begin shipping in mid-December. The first garden will ship immediately once it becomes available, and then subsequent gardens will ship one calendar month apart for the duration of the program.
Your order may be split into multiple shipments as items becomes available.
Due to the limited nature of our product, payment is required in full at the time of order to reserve your bulbs.
A flat shipping rate will be added to your order based on the total of the merchandise in the cart (after discounts have been applied).
Monthly bulb programs have their own one-time flat shipping fee (see product page for amount). The ship rate for other items in the cart will be determined separately.
We will ship by the most economical method using either USPS Priority and/or UPS Ground.
Your order will generally ship within 5 business days after we receive it.
During periods of extreme weather, we may hold all or part of your order to avoid temperature-related damage in transit.
Sorry, but we cannot ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam or any addresses outside of the contiguous US.
Your bulbs will arrive to you potted, pre-rooted and having undergone all the necessary temperature treatments to be ready to grow and bloom!
The shredded wood on top of your garden is there for protection during shipping, and should be carefully removed upon arrival. The emerging shoots of your bulbs may look pale and bent over, but this is normal. After a few days of water and light, they’ll begin to straighten out and turn green. If your garden arrives frozen (which will not affect the quality of these cold-weather bulbs), allow it to thaw overnight before watering.
Your bulbs will be happiest grown in a cool location that receives bright light. Your sunniest window away from a direct heat source will be the best spot. Rotate the garden periodically to allow for even light and to keep the stalks growing straight. Soil should be kept evenly moist at all times. Bulbs will take up a lot of water quickly, so check the moisture level daily. Pinch off flower heads as they fade.
Long and leggy stems can be a result of high temps and/or low light – if this happens, you can stake the blooms, cut the stems and enjoy them in a vase, or embrace and enjoy the wild look!
Many bulbs may be planted outdoors in a sunny location once all danger of frost has passed (zones 3-8 only). Forcing bulbs indoors uses up a great deal of their energy, and it may take a few years for the bulbs to rejuvenate and bloom again.
