When will I be charged for my preorder?
Because our product is limited and has a short shipping window, we must collect payment in full at the time of order to reserve your bulbs. If for any reason we’re unable to fulfill your order, you’ll be refunded no questions asked.
Can you ship to different addresses?
We welcome gift purchases and invite you to select a few items for friends and family, as well as yourself. However, at this time, we’re unable to ship items within a single order to different addresses. To ship to multiple locations, simply submit a separate order for items going to each destination. We’ll handle it from there!
Will everything in my order ship together?
Whenever reasonable, for the sake of shipping economy, we will try to hold all the items in your order until everything can ship together.
For example, if you order amaryllis bulbs from multiple countries we will wait until they have all arrived to our warehouse in October before shipping. Now if you order amaryllis bulbs and a potted bulb garden we would not delay your amaryllis bulbs until January when the bulb gardens are ready. These items we would split into 2 shipments.
How do I care for my bulbs?

Could you explain amaryllis bulb sizing?
Yes! An amaryllis’s bulb size indicates the diameter in centimeters around the largest part of the bulb. For instance, a bulb marked 28/30 measures between 28 and 30 centimeters around.
It’s important to note that this measurement is taken at harvest, when the bulb is at its plumpest. Bulbs will naturally shrink a bit over time in storage, but the number of buds expected from the harvest size will not change.
While larger bulbs typically produce more flowering stalks, there are certain classes of amaryllis (like Sonatinis) that naturally produce much smaller top-sized bulbs.
What size container should I pot my amaryllis into?
Amaryllis don’t like to have too much extra room in their pots, so between 1-2″ of space between the bulb and the wall of the pot is ideal. We’ve created a handy size reference guide:

It’s important to ensure your bulb gets proper drainage, and since many decorative pots don’t have drain holes an inner grow liner must be used. Bulb & Blossom helps take the guesswork out of potting by providing proper sized grow liners with all our decorative containers, and letting you know which size bulbs are a good fit for each pot.
I think my amaryllis froze – what should I do?
A well packaged bulb can usually withstand some below-freezing temps in transit without issue, but prolonged or extreme exposure can cause damage. A bulb that’s experienced a hard freeze will become mushy and discolored, and may ooze a dark liquid. If you see these signs, let us know.
Rest assured, as long as your Amaryllis bulb looks healthy and feels firm to the touch, it’s probably okay!
Proceed with growing it as normal, and continue to test for firmness. Once you start to see green tips or foliage emerge you’re in the clear! This can take several weeks, especially in Dutch varieties, but as long as the bulb feels firm it should be viable.
Please note that rooted gardens (tulips, daffodils, etc.) can experience freezing with no harmful effect.
Where do you ship?
We ship within the 48 contiguous United States. At this time, we’re unable to fulfill shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, or Canada. Find more shipping details on our shipping information page.
Can you deliver to a PO Box?
We ship using US Postal Service and UPS, which requires a street address for delivery. If you have a PO Box, please provide that AND a street address so that delivery is covered no matter which shipping option we choose. Find more shipping details on our shipping information page.
Can you pot my amaryllis?
While we’d love to provide potting service for all amaryllis varieties down the road, for now we’re only offering the pre-potted amaryllis options you’ll find here.
